ARCHITECTURAL TRIM - Project Description:
This home is on a farm in central New Jersey. The home owners wanted to restore this property to a "working farm" look with today's available technologies.
This project was the installation of siding and trim to complement and complete the look of this beautiful home.
Changes include:
- The siding for the main house is Maibec Industries 16 inch Eastern White Cedar Shakes
- These shakes are a high quality product that has been kiln-dried and re-squared and rebutted to provide a natural finish without additional trimming
- New crisp white low-maintenance AZEK Trimboards® and Cornerboards® where used through out the project. Fypon® header details were used to complete the period look of this home
- AZEK® beaded soffits dress the porches, portico and roof overhangs.
- Masonry surfaces were covered with Owens Corning Cultured Stone® Dressed Fieldstone in the Aspen color tones.
- New gutter and leader system carries through the 'white-trim' appearance
