CULTURED STONE ENTRY AND FOUNDATION - Project Description:
This large elegant home was hidden behind a monochrome color scheme, and the entry blended into the exterior as well.
A new entry was constructed with a deeper exterior foyer to add a more welcoming function. The cultured stone sets off the entry doors (see more about the doors) and adds a note of elegance.
Now this Brick, NJ home's distinctive "Arts & Crafts" classic appearance is complete with a more gracious entry and the structure is tied to the landscape and terrain of the yard.
Changes include:
- Cultured stone enclosure in Owens Corning Old Country Fieldstone in the Chardonnay color around the expanded two story front entry adds a note of elegance
- New crisp white low-maintenance AZEK Trimboards® on the overhangs and fascia accents the stone
- New vinyl soffits in snowy white to emphasize roof overhangs
- New gutter and leader system carries through the 'white-trim' appearance
- The cultured stone was also applied to the foundation where it was exposed in the front of the home.
- Additionally, the garage level was fully faced with the matching cultured stone, completing the look of the home.
- In addition to the garage facade, a stairway to the rear yard was also faced in matching stone.
