SIDING REPLACEMENT and NEW TRIM Project Description:
This home had the old look associated with the original siding from when the home was initially built. The project entailed the removal and replacement of siding as well as new trim accent elements. The result is a fresh, crisp up to date home.
Changes Included:
- Removal of original siding and replacement with CertainTeed Cedar Impressions Perfection® vinyl shingles in Savannah Wicker
- New 6" Beaded solid white colonial soffits were installed
- The two attic vents were trimmed with a Mid-America 22" Round vent with 4 keystones. This solution provides the required vent function as well as adding a new design element to the home
- A 51" by 6" Fypon® window crosshead with keystone was added to each of the pair of front windows. Again, this added a complementary design element and enhanced the completeness of look. Windows were bordered with AZEK Trimboards® for more low-maintenance living
- This new look was continued on the side car port by replacing the original roof posts with HB&G PERMAPorch® traditional columns
- The sides of the home were finished in color-coordinated dutch lap siding, while the front and entry were finished with the cedar impressions siding - a cost effective approach to dramatically improved curb appeal.
- The result is a well planned and nicely coordinated solution that is fresh and updated.
