SIDING AND TRIM REPLACEMENT Project Description:
This elegant home was stuck in its past, circa when it was built, with a monochrome color scheme and a clumsy entry.
The old portico was removed, and the roof reconstructed and replaced. A new portico with elegant columns welcomes guests as it sets off the entry, and adds a note of elegance. Now its elegant classic appearance is complete with a gracious entry and classic color scheme.
Changes include:
- The siding was replaced with Cedarway Perfection vinyl shakes in pearl gray
- New crisp white maintenance-free Azek Trimboards® around the windows and fascia accent the siding
- The roof was replaced with GAF 30 year Timberline® charcoal shingles, also a GAF hooded attic fan was added to ensure cooler summer attic temperatures
- Snowy white vinyl headings over windows and doors, including the garage door, accent the architecture
- New beaded vinyl soffits in colonial white emphasize roof overhangs
- New gutter and leader system carries through the 'white-trim' appearance, and completes the elegance of the home and professional appearance of this project
