The owners of this lovely two story colonial in Holmdel, New Jersey wanted to

• replace this older siding,
• make some needed exterior repairs
• and give the front entryway a new look.

Our design team reviewed the owner’s requirements and inspected the exterior for signs of aging or damage from years of exposure.

The project included the removal of all existing vinyl and aluminum siding, as well as the removal and replacement of sections of soffits and fascia boards that had deteriorated due to excessive rain runoff spilling out of gutters and exposure to the elements. With the repairs completed a new ProVia entry door with side window panels was installed. The house was then wrapped in Tyvek, including Tyvek tape on all seams.

The new siding includes CertainTeed Cedar Impressions D7 Perfection in Sandpiper on the front of the home, with CertainTeed Cedarboards D6 clapboard in Sandpiper for the sides and rear of the home. All corners are finished with Traditional Supercorners in white.

All the soffits are now Alcoa Ventura soffits with soffit cove moldings installed to complete the overall fit and finish. You can also see in the photo’s that the soffit detail in the front elevation is Mid America Scalloped Tooth Dentil trim, including finishing end caps.

Also on the front elevation, the new entry door is capped in Fypon 14” Dentil Crosshead with the side trim of 7” fluted pilasters. To finish this lovely home, 8 pairs of Raised Panel Shutters, in black, were installed. The installation includes “S” hooks to complete the look and finish.

Finally all leaders and gutters were replaced with white seamless product and leaders were upgraded to 3”x4” as required to prevent water overflow and future damage.
