COMPLETE MAKEOVER - Project Description:
This mid-century classic home in Toms River was showing its age and needed it all - new siding, roof, windows, trim and an updated front entry.
The existing color scheme of white siding did nothing to set off the home. And the windows didn't function well. Overall, this home was waiting for an exterior makeover to be completely transformed with a more welcoming appearance.
The existing aluminum siding was removed and disposed of, as was the deteriorated roof and windows. The siding was replaced with no maintenance vinyl siding throughout the home. A new bay window was framed in to replace the dated picture window in the living room. The new crisp white trim makes the new windows and warm, inviting color stand out.
The existing wrought iron porch columns were replaced with new porch posts, for a more traditional and welcoming entry.
Changes include:
- CertainTeed® Monogram® Clapboard on the entire home, in the new color of Sandpiper. Matching corner boards maintain the color scheme.
- New windows from Silverline®, including the new bay window, improve energy efficiency and function.
- GAF Timberline® 30 Roof in Charcoal blend color.
- Three new porch columns brighten the entry.
- New gutter and leader system carries through the 'white-trim' appearance.
