COMPLETE MAKEOVER - Project Description:
This large elegant home has a new look with new siding, roofing, trim and architectural details. It is clean and crisp and elegant in its style and color selections.
Changes include:
- The homes new siding is Maibec Industries 16 inch (squared & rebutted) Eastern White Cedar Shakes. These handsome shakes are coated with Cabot Semi-Solid® oil based stain in Bluestone
- This 10,000 sq. ft. roof was shingled with 100 squares of GAF Timberline® 30 year Pewter Grey Blend shingles
- New crisp white low-maintenance AZEK Trimboards® and Cornerboards® were used throughout the project
- New HB&G columns grace the portico and porches on this home
- AZEK window headers add a look of elegance and AZEK beaded soffits dress the porches, portico and roof overhangs
- New gutter and leader system carries through the 'white-trim' appearance
- A final touch of elegance for this home is the use of copper roofing on the bay window and the main entry portico. Copper Standing Seam Metal roofing materials were used in both cases . These roofs were fabricated on site to assure a custom fit. In addition to an exact fit, these surfaces will weather over time and reach their natural verdigris patina.
