On Helping Rebuild Homes Damaged by Hurricane Sandy

Home Renovation

That’s why we at All County Exteriors provided assistance to our fellow Jerseyites whose homes were damaged by Hurricane Sandy. We all heard about how it raked much of east coast of the United States – including New Jersey. The destructive hurricane began as a tropical wave in the Caribbean and quickly turned into a tropical storm in just 6 hours. It progressed to a hurricane on Oct. 24 when it reached 74 mph winds.

When it hit Jersey, it caused a massive devastation all over the state with over 300,000 homes damaged and destroyed. With this kind of impact in our community, many New Jersey residents were left with close to nothing.

As a way to help those who were in need, All County Exteriors teamed up with Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization for families in need of decent homes, and offered our expertise in roofing, siding, windows and doors for free. Our team of experts joined efforts replacing damaged windows and installing new siding in Monmouth County, and a lot more.

Aside from helping in rebuilding the victims’ homes, All County Exteriors started collecting donations, which was then transported and distributed via church groups and other disaster relief organizations to families in need all over the state. We were quite overwhelmed with the response from our fellow New Jersey residents with a lot of help from different parts of the community.

We appreciate everybody’s work in providing relief to the victims. Just check out our Facebook page to see several pictures of the loads of donations coming in, as well as some of the home renovation projects we have done, and also to see how you can do your share.
